To set up we need to be in the right sequence.

1st :straighten the short bar
And u will hear a click.

2nd:straighten the long bar
Same will hear a click
3rd :push down the center part

(Please do follow the 1-2-3 steps open and close,otherwise there will be issue.)
for open the bed, 1.straighten the short bar 2.straighten the long bar 3.push down the center part
for close the bed, 1.push up the center part 2.

*Center must not push down before all bar is straighten.

*Center push down activate safety mechanism therefore cannot lock or lock before u straighten.

*Same thing if center is not pull up 1st when keeping the playpen, all the straight bar lock you will be unable to press.

This safety mechanism is good cuz its prevent the kids to accidently press the lock.
